BAC Arsenal (Burke/Fairfax area), NCSL Div 3 U17b team, is having tryouts for the Spring 2012 Season. We are looking for dedicated players who can make an immediate impact on the field. McLean Hotspurs White, an U17 Division 2 team are looking for a couple of field players for the Spring season. We practice on turf fields in McLean and will play in State Cup and at least 4 tournaments this year. Team America 94 Red, a U17 Div. 1 team and State Cup quarter finalist based in Springfield invite very strong Div. 1 caliber players to tryout with us. We are looking to add 2 impact players and a Goal Keeper who can contribute immediately and give team a chance to qualify in the Regional next year. We play year round soccer and holding winter practices at Patriot Park, Fairfax, Virginia and play in the Indoor High School League at the Dulles Sportsplex. The Takoma Celtics are an NCSL U17 team that won Division 5 in Spring 2011. We are looking for 2-3 experienced field players and a goalie to join us for the Spring 2012 NCSL season. The team is based in Takoma Park/Silver Spring, practices in that area, and plays home games at Blair High School. The NCSL D-2 Damascus Predators are looking for 4 to 6 players, GK included, to join the team to create a competitive environment within the team! Many of the present players are hoping to play at the collegiate level in a year and a half! Our goals are to move up to D-1, perform well in State Cup and gain acceptance to higher level tournaments to showcase our players. ABGC Annandale United 94 Blue - U-17 - is looking for 1 or 2 high level players as well as a goalkeeper to help get us to the top tier in our age group. This is a particularly good opportunity for a keeper as we are a team of High School Juniors but our keeper is a Senior and graduating after this Spring season. We have been a quarterfinalist in State Cup the past 2 years. We plan to attend numerous college showcase tournaments and this is an opportunity to be an important part of a team that is ready to go. The team is coached by Larry Bernfeld, nationally licensed and a long time NCSL Division 1 coach who is also currently the Head Coach for Boy’s Varsity Soccer at J.E.B. Stuart High School. We know many players will be participating in Virginia High School soccer this Spring. This is not a problem and we will schedule accordingly.
