WSC Diplomats U11. Looking for a few experience dedicated players to fill in two or three vacant spots. The team is based in Washington,DC and will be practicing in DC (TBA). The team is coached by Osman 'Ossie' Orlando Ossie is has many years of experience coaching youth teams in the Metro DC area, and was the Head men's soccer coach at UDC for 15 years he is the former DC/VA state Head men's select soccer coach and currently the director of Youth vision of America soccer program. U11 Thunder Soccer Club (TSC) United – Attention 98/99 players! We are seeking 2 top level field players to round out our Division 1 roster. The team practices in Howard County 2 times per week and will play in the NCSL and several pre-season tournaments. The United are professionally coached by Tony Corbett, Director of Coaching for TSC. Coach Corbett has a proven track record with numerous winning teams, and has previously been Head Coach of several ODP boys age groups and coached at the NCAA collegiate level. CYA REAL 98 Purple is looking for motivated, skilled players who love the game of soccer and want to take their training to the next level. REAL 98 Purple is a successful, competitive team that has won 4 tournaments over the past few seasons (Busch Gardens Classic, Dulles National Tournament, Battlefield Classic, PWSI Icebreaker) and has been a finalist in several others. After the Fall 2009 season, the team will be matched against solid, comparable teams in NCSL, Division 6, but with a great opportunity to advance. REAL 98 Purple utilizes focused, academy-style professional training sessions during the spring and fall seasons as well as winter league play. REAL 98 Purple places a strong emphasis on teamwork, sportsmanship, & enjoying and growing in the game of soccer. WSC Cosmos - U11. The Cosmos have two slots available on a successful, competitive team. In addition to compiling a 26-13-4 record over 5 NCSL seasons, the Cosmos have won championships at two tournaments (most recently the Hershey Invitational in Summer 2009), and finished as a finalist in a third tournament. The team trains in Washington DC on a turf field nearby the US Capitol and plays year round. The Cosmos are be coached by Whitney Minnis. Whitney is a USSF “B” Licensed coach and former professional player of 7 years in the USL 2nd division. In addition to his training and education as a soccer coach, Mr. Minnis, is certified in track (USATF), fitness and conditioning (ACE Certified), and nutrition (AASDN). Mr.Minnis has more than 10 years coaching experience having directed his previous teams to Top 4 state and top 50 national rankings. Olney Roadrunners and Olney United Premier teams U-11 NCSL are looking for goalkeepers and field players for the Spring 2010. Players need to be born 1 August 1998 to 31 July 1999 or younger. Players need to be skillfull, talent, speedy, and committed to the game of soccer.    Olney teams are 50-1 record in the NCSL for 5 seasons. Recently finalist of the OBGC capital cup 2009, August cup 2009, and MAPS cup 2009. The teams are planning to participate in Arlington, Jefferson, MSI, and Potomac tournaments this Spring 2010.  The teams are coached by Julio Arjona, one of the top coaches in the Met area. Recently, his son was selected ALL-MET player of the year 2009, 3 former players attended the residential program in Bradenton, five former players are playing in top division 1 college such as Maryland, Duke, Ohio State, Virginia, West Virginia, and others. He had 40 players made to the MD and VA ODP system, 10 players to the ODP region 1, and 3 players to the US national youth soccer teams.  Coached arjona was former coach of the Bethesda Roadrunners, MSC United 96, and Olney Arsenal. Presently, he is the assistant coach for Bethesda Fire and Revolutions U-14 top boys team in the area.  In addition, he is been parted of the D.C. ABGC U-11 Boys travel soccer team is seeking players for the Spring, 2010 season. The team receives professional training by Harry Opoku, a former player for the Ghana National Team and Manchester City. He has over 30 years of coaching experience. Many of Harry’s players pursue college with soccer scholarships and others have gone on to play soccer professionally. Coach Opoku has lead 7 teams to win state cups.
