Rising U9 Fall ’08 McLean Premier Soccer McLean Premier Soccer (MPS) is looking for enthusiastic young soccer players born on or after August 1, 1999 who share our passion for playing soccer and developing skills while still having fun! MPS will be forming TWO or THREE teams from these tryouts. The MPS program provides excellent year-round training opportunities, including competition in NCSL, indoor soccer or futsal leagues, competitive tournaments, as well as high quality training and summer/winter camps. Bill Delaney, a USSF-licensed coach and former college assistant coach, will oversee the program and is dedicated to developing strong technical skills, good sportsmanship, and a composed team-style of play. The FPYC Pirates are looking to add a few more committed and competitive players to our roster for the Fall 2008 Season. The Pirates completed a year of a U8 pre-travel (Crossover) program with the Lee Mount Vernon Soccer Club, playing at U9 rules for more advance competitive play. The Pirates participated this past winter in two indoor soccer sessions and completed footskills training this spring. Rising U9 Boys teams: Ashburn Magic Gold and Black Coaches Dave Lazorchak and Jim Mensah are excited to be forming the Ashburn Magic Boys U9 travel soccer teams. These new teams will emphasize player development and passion for soccer. The program is designed to produce creative and dynamic players that possess a sound technical base. The teams will train 2 or 3 times weekly from mid-August through the end of the following July (with short breaks in between seasons). This academy program will teach its players the skills and attitude necessary to grow individually as players and compete weekly as a team. The coaches will teach and develop players to have the confidence, and the technical ability to enjoy the game. At least one weekly session will include the entire combined U9 boys group. U-9 Alexandria Fusion White and Red (Alexandria, VA) - NCSL - Alexandria Soccer Association is establishing two new U-9 boys teams - Fusion White and Red. Players must not turn 9 years old prior to August 1, 2008. During the Fall and Spring seasons, the Fusion will train two days a week in Alexandria while participating in the NCSL and 2 tournaments each season.
