Field is on the right, directly across the street from the WSSC Headquarters Building (gray steel and glass high rise). Distance from intersection of Sweitzer and MD 198 to field is about 3/4 mile.

From points west (MD 29 or New Hampshire Ave): Go east on MD 198 (Sandy Spring Rd) towards Laurel. Turn right at Sweitzer Lane (one light past Old Gunpowder Rd/Bond Mill Rd). Continue to field 3/4 mile on the right.

Wakefield H.S. From I-495 in Virginia, take I-395 north. Take exit for Rt. 7 West (King Street). Turn left at the exit onto Rt. 7 West. Go approximately one mile and turn right at the light onto S. George Mason. At the second light, turn right onto S. Columbus. After a couple blocks, the road makes a sharp right and becomes S. Chesterfield. Go one long block; the school is on the right. To get to the Wakefield H.S. field (it is not the field you see on your right from the street), park in the upper lot or on the street and walk down the driveway to the right of the school. Turn right at the bottom of the hill and go past the tennis courts to the stadium field.

From Rt. 50 take Rt. 28 South. This field is on the West side of Rt. 28 between Rt.50 and Willard Road. It can ONLY be accessed directly off of Rt. 28 just South of where Rt. 28 crosses over Rt. 50. Look for the Southern States sign by the road and turn in there.

From I-66 take Rt. 28 North. You must get off at the Exit for Rt. 50 West, loop around, and get back on Rt.28 going south. The Southern States sign will be immediately on your right. Park in designated area only, not on the drive.

Driving directions from I-495: From I-495 in Virginia, take I-66 eastbound. Take exit 71 (Glebe Rd/Fairfax Dr). You will be on Fairfax Drive. Follow to N. Quincy St. and turn left on Quincy. Continue one long block and cross Washington Blvd. The stadium field will be on the left (beyond the construction area) located between Stafford and Quincy Streets facing Washington Blvd.

Parking Options: Quincy Street. After crossing Washington Blvd., there are parking lots in front of and to the right of the school on the left side of Quincy. Parking Deck. Follow Quincy past school and across I-66. Turn left on N. 15th. Turn left to enter parking deck. Pedestrians should walk back on Quincy to the field entrance on Washington Blvd.

From Capital Beltway, exit onto MD 210, Indian Head Highway southbound (exit 3A). After 2.5 miles on MD 210, turn left onto Palmer Road (the 3rd or 4th traffic light from the Beltway). Continue for about 4 miles on Palmer Road (which changes to Tucker Road then to Allentown Road) then turn left at the Shell gas station onto Webster Lane. The field is on the right, about 1/10 mile after the turn. PLEASE NOTE that there is a large church along Allentown Road prior to the turnoff for Webster Lane, and traffic can be slow at starts/ends of services. It is advised to allow an extra 1/2 hour to your time estimate for getting to the field.

ALTERNATIVE (avoids the church traffic): From Capital Beltway, exit onto MD-5 south/Branch Avenue towards Waldorf (Exit 7A). After 1.1 miles, take the Allentown Road West (MD-337) ramp towards Camp Springs. Continue on Allentown Road for 2.3 miles. Turn right at the Shell Station onto Webster Lane; field is on the right about 1/10 mile after the turn.

Located on Ohio Drive directly across Independence Avenue from the Lincoln Memorial. From the Memorial Bridge: Stay to the right as your cross the bridge. At the Lincoln Memorial, bear right around circle and take the 2nd right. Proceed straight ahead to park. From the 14th Street Bridge: Proceed across bridge, into the District, and across Independence Avenue. Take the 1st available left after Independence Avenue. Turn left at the Washington Monument and proceed to the stop light at Independence Avenue. Turn right on Independence Avenue and follow to Ohio Drive. Turn left on Ohio Drive and enter the park. From the Roosevelt Bridge: Stay to the right as you cross the bridge. Take the Independence Avenue exit and proceed down the ramp to the stop sign. Turn left. After you go under the Memorial Bride, bear right into West Potomac Park.

From Baltimore Beltway (I-695): Take I-70 West toward Frederick to Rte 97 south. Proceed south-bound on Rte 97 approximately two miles. Turn Right onto Carrs Mill Road. Go 0.3 miles and turn Right into the park.

From Capital Beltway (I-495): Take Exit 33 (Connecticut Ave.) North and proceed to Rte 97 (Georgia Ave). Turn left, north, towards Olney and continue through Olney and proceed for an additional eleven miles. Turn Left onto Carrs Mill Road and go 0.3 miles and turn Right into the park.

As you enter the park, stadium fields #5 & #4 respectively will be directly on your left. To reach fields #7, #8, and #10, proceed on the main park road towards the back of the park. Fields #7 & #8 again will be on your left and field #10 is all the way at the end of the park. The fields are labeled with signs.

From I-95: Take Exit 143-B (Garrisonville), drive 5 miles west on Rte 610 (Garrisonville Road) until you pass North Stafford HSl on your left. Turn left at the next light onto Rte 648 (Shelton Shop Road) and go 2 miles south. At the stop sign, turn right onto Rte 627 (Mountain View Road) and go 1 mile west. Ave at DC line going around traffic circle, in approximately 1.5 miles bear right on Nebraska Avenue, Wilson High School turf field will be on the right in about 1 mile, between Chesapeake and Albermarle cross streets. Parking is available on surrounding streets, obey all parking signs or you will be ticketed. No dogs. This is a turf field.

From Virginia: 495 to George Washington Parkway inbound, Chain Bridge exit (just after the CIA exit), follow Chain Bridge Road east down the hill to stoplight, turn left and cross the Potomac River on the Chain Bridge, turn right on Canal Road, and first left (stoplight) onto Arizona Avenue. At the end of road, right on Loughboro Road, this turns into Nebraska Avenue, follow around two traffic circles, cross Wisconsin Avenue and Wilson High School field will be on the left between Albermarle and Chesapeake cross streets.

Parking is available on surrounding streets, obey all parking signs or you will be ticketed. No dogs. This is a turf field.

From Leesburg, follow Rt. 7 Bypass west ~12 miles to the Purcellville/Round Hill exit. At the bottom of the exit, turn right onto Hwy 7 business. Continue for 0.1 mile and then turn right onto Evening Star Drive. Follow that for 0.8 miles, over the hill and past the school.

The parking for the soccer field is between the baseball fields and the tree line. Field #4 is beyond the trees on the left of the parking lot. NO DOGS ALLOWED.
